Integrated post-acute care management services provided by Aetna® Medicare, tango, and WellSky®
Aetna Medicare is excited to announce a collaborative partnership that sets a new standard for integrated post-acute care. The tango I WellSky partnership brings a first-of-its-kind solution to the Nevada market. It will use the leading technology and services capabilities of WellSky and the skilled home health enablement expertise of tango to deliver a fully integrated, proactive post-acute care program. The goal is to streamline and coordinate a cohesive provider and member experience across the post-acute continuum.
Through this partnership, tango and WellSky are designated as the delegated managers for skilled home health and post-acute care benefits, overseeing services across skilled nursing and inpatient rehabilitation care settings. As part of this delegation, tango and WellSky are responsible for utilization management, ensuring timely authorizations for prior authorizations and continued stay requests, efficient transitions of care, and a cohesive experience for both providers and members across the post-acute continuum.
EFFECTIVE September 1, 2026: tango and WellSky will manage prior authorizations for skilled home health and post-acute care stays for Aetna® Medicare members in Nevada.
